Passive BFR protocols (Pillar 1) are not ideal for Passive BFR protocols (Pillar 1) are not ideal for a number of reasons, the least of which it takes a lot of time. Time that can be spent performing active exercise, engaging the muscles and producing muscle growth and strength gains.Do you have the confidence needed to be a successful BFR provider? There are 3 hurdles you'll need to overcome to gain the confidence needed to be a successful BFR provider.The only situations where there may be reason to use pillar 1 exercise would be in the potential "quitter" types, those with significant yellow lights in their history, those unable to perform any active exercise at all or those looking for possible performance enhancement/recovery pre-/post-exercise with high pressure applications.
